Before we reached town, we picked up Danny, our Local Specialist, for the day. Danny is known as “Ricky Martin” in the guiding industry though his singing ability is apparently not comparable. He was passionate and you can tell he is proud of and loves his country.
This particular day, the van that drives the film crew was ahead of us and yes, they were busy as ever! We also had a quick roadside filming & photo stop for the always on the ready crew!
We’ve been to Kotor in the past so it was a great return visit. As we wandered through the tiny streets, one of the store owners spotted us and we instantly recognized each other! It was so nice to see he was still there despite the two years of no tourism.
Once our walking tour ended, we found ourselves sitting in a restaurant trying to decide which of the many great options we should try. After much contemplation, the server suggested we should order the combination tray with a bowl of mussels on the side. I must admit it was a great idea as we enjoyed every bite of it. We were also joined by one of the local cats, who enjoyed every shrimp head I gave her, no photos unfortunately as I was busy peeling shrimp! And no meal would be complete without Gelato!
On our way back to the hotel, we would have a hidden gem stop, a Trafalgar favorite
Today we would get news that Kim’s luggage has been found 7 days later! Kim has been a perfect sport about this whole mess. I am not sure I could have been as gracious and patient as she was. Thanks to our TD Tod, who was also relentless in trying to locate the MIA luggage….😊
What a way to end a perfect day!

Love following your journey’s. Ben and I are leaving for Greece and Italy on August 18th through September 7th. We also are traveling with Trafalgar as well.
We love traveling with Trafalgar though I am not sure things will ever be the same after this trip. They promised no filming before morning coffee and they meant it! After the first sip, cameras appeared magically! It was such a fun trip. We will be the Travel ad for the brand for the year..
I love the hidden gem spot! Also love that the guy recognized you from last trip, you’re just memorable people! Is that pistachio gelato? All the good stuff, glad you are living your best life.
