As the COVID-19 Pandemic emerged as a true global crisis in the first quarter of 2020, passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, including Sally and David, were stranded aboard as cases of the infection escalated among passengers. It is a true honor for us to have met you.
Sherry & Merv, together with their friends Raelene & Rob from Newfoundland, turned out to be friends of Elizabeth & Hughie, whom we met in Egypt earlier this year….amazing!
We met Bonnie and Diane, both OR nurses. Bonnie and I share some mutual acquaintances from a Sutter hospital in Oakland, California.
We hope our paths cross again one day

For now, we’re returning home to hang our hats to dry, cuddle up with our kitties, spend the holidays with family and friends, and “recharge” for our 2024 adventures!
