















While everyone was hording toilet paper, I was worried about the rice!

I got my knee surgery out of the way to be ready when the world opened back up





We visited with family far and close on the screen



We sent each other goodie packages, I found all our lost pour over travel coffee filters and we got our groceries left at the front door



Baby Ryzen came to this world in 2020 and it would be 15 months later before he would meet his father in person. Travel between Singapore and the Philippines was restricted and Ronald could not go home



Who would have thought we would see signs like this in our lifetime?















2020 went into 2021 and the world was still restricted to travel. We would eventually reschedule and complete majority of our trips in 2022 but sadly, we will not make it to the Philippines in time. My uncle, who we planned to visit in the Philippines, passed away in May 2022, a few weeks after travel to the Philippines opened back up. New estimates from the World Health Organization show that the full death toll associated directly or indirectly with the COVID-19 pandemic between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2021 was approximately 14.9 million.
